We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making within the organization. Reporting to the Deputy Finance Director, the Finance Analyst will collaborate with various departments, providing insightful financial information and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

What will be your tasks?

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

    • Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to support management in making informed business decisions.

    • Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the financial performance of the company.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Participate in the annual budgeting process, working closely with various Senior Directors to ensure accurate and realistic financial plans.

    • Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide regular updates as directed.

    • Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial forecasts and projections.

  • Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare and analyse financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

    • Generate ad-hoc financial reports for management as needed.

    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Cost Analysis:

    • Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify areas for cost savings and operational efficiency improvements.

    • Collaborate with department heads to understand cost drivers and recommend strategies for cost control.

  • Business Partnering:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide financial solutions.

  • Risk Management:

    • Stay informed about market trends, economic indicators, and industry benchmarks.

Who is the ideal candidate?

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.  

  • Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or in a similar role.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficient in financial modeling and analysis.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (SAP & Salesforce, Anaplan) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
