Talent Specialist

The role of the Talent Specialist involves the execution and supervision of all elements of the following HR areas.


  • Responsible for the end to end recruitment process: approvals, intake meetings, sourcing, interviewing, offer and negotiation;
  • Responsible for advising management on best recruitment practices and ideal profiles to hire;
  • Ensure approvals for new roles and offers follow established process;
  • Responsible for corporate onboarding of new hires;
  • Ambassador of referral program, encouraging the K2 SSL team to use;
  • Work directly with regional management in scheduling training sessions for associates;
  • Work with the Talent Leadership team in recruitment excellence related projects (Employment branding, ATS and process implementation, Improving search strategies, market intelligence reports);
  • Regionalization of K2 training content to suit local needs, as well as identifying areas of training needs and planning training sessions;
  • Work with K2 management to monitor performance and progress of training attendees;
  • Liaising with the business on their training needs;
  • Run ongoing monthly training sessions (career, DE&I).

HR people initiative

  • Be a partner (focal point) helping the managers with their HR queries;
  • Internal communication of HR topics in partnership with Marketing and local leadership;
  • Assist with regional  performance and promotion reviews process;
  • Exit interviews and analyze/report the content;
  • Probation period performance tracking;
  • Ensure that onboarding presentations and material are updated;
  • Support in the organization of team events.; 

Requirements & Skills 

  • 2 years of similar experience in HR environments, having held a mix of Recruitment and HR Generalist roles;
  • Experience working in an international environment;
  • Bachelor’s degree qualification and professional qualifications in HR, Organizational Development or other related fields;
  • An engaging and dynamic presence and method of delivery;
  • Acute organizational and communication skills both verbal and written;
  • Creativity and a keenness to stay on top of market trends in the L&D space;
  • Track record of successful recruitment career and understanding of a sales organization;
